Hi all - could someone offer some advice please.

I've followed all of the rules (I think) - splitting the movie in VirtualDub, checking the framerate and converting using TMPGEnc from AVI to MPEG.

On this occasion it was a 23,976 - So I've selected NTSC Film.

Checked it all out with both Windows Media Player and RealOne - and all looks great, good quality, and sound all synched.

However, going to burn it in Nero (I usually use Nero Express) - and it does its own conversion again (As apparently it is in a format which is non VCD compliant). The resulting VCD is crap - very ghosty and 'blocky'

I've read through a few threads and have tried burning again - this time using traditional nero - making sure that both the 'Create Standard Compliant CD' and 'Use CD-i application' boxes are unchecked. The result is a VCD with good sound, but wavy lines as a picture.

Hopefully I've just done something pretty stupid - can someone give me a few pointers ?

Ta very much
