Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I was not sure if i should vote:
"No - I usually don't care enough about the product to respond to a suvey"
Or
"No - I usually don't care enough about the product to respond to a suvey"
:P
(i see someone is already bored today)
Something must be wrong because what i voted for does not show
But i guess it's easy to get confused with all those options :P -
I used to. They sent me money and free products. After the first few years, however, they kept ******* up and I started to not get the cash or items. Not long after, I started to throw the surveys in the trash and refuse the phone calls. Eventually they went away.

No I'm just asking in general if you respond to those flyers in the stuff you buy or internet ones.

What is the difference between "Yes" and "Yes" and "Sometimes" and "Sometimes"

I usually do the Home Depot online opinion surveys on the receipts (I could use that $5000 gift card). But I refuse to participate in telephone surveys of any type and seldom (if ever) mail in any survey form.

Sometimes
Sometimes
Sometimes
But not very often.
I hang up on telephone pollsters.
I do alot of work in shopping malls (Construction) and most of these malls have a company there doing "Research" Some actually do pay you like $10-$15 if you go down to their office and spend like 30 minutes doing their gig. I have never done it, but I have lost guys for awhile that have snuck off for a quick easy buck. Usually the pollsters skip asking me, but on a coulpe of ocassions when they have asked me if I would like to give my opinion I tell them "Yeah, Your annoying" or other not so nice responces.
I feel real bad about one case. I was comming down the escalator and right there at the bottom a lady was waiting to poll people. She was actually creating a inconveince (SP) to the flow of foot traffic and I was having a bad day. So when she asked me for an opinion I blurted out "yeah, your fuckin' ugly, move!" It was about this time that I noticed that she had some facial deformities and quite possibly slight mental issues. Talk about feeling like shit. I apologized as best that I could and took her by the elbow to move her out of the way of the escalator egress path.IS IT SUPPOSED TO SMOKE LIKE THAT? -
For some reason the Nielsen TV people put me on their survey list. Which is funny as i watch about an hour of broadcast TV a week at most. And that is totally at random. When I saw their multi page, fairly complex survey, No way.
Telephone surveys I hang up on after I hear, 'Hello, I'm from xxxx and we are .........' Thankfully I'm on the national 'Do not call list' and have an unlisted phone number, so this is rare lately.
I guess I would have to answer, 'What's in it for me?' before I would participate in most surveys. -
I figure these are all for one of a few reasons.
1 - to get your phone # and verify you are a responder and then sellyour private info to someone or several people that will buy it.
2 - to get your verified address and verify you are a responder and then sellyour private info to someone or several people that will buy it..
I guarantee if there were no money in it they would not inquire. Someone has to be paying them.
Being on the "Do Not Call" list has worked wonders.
Also I got several good laughs from this thread.
yoda313, good one.

Over several months I participated in surveys for one internet company and got a total of $24 in Buy.com gift certificates.

Never by phone, email, letter, at my door or in a store unless I initiate the comment.
I have called to complain about the quality of some favorite products hoping that it would improve it.
e.g.
We called a well known soda cracker maker because of broken contents also easily broken when handled so it wasn't only the shippers or stores breaking the crackers in transit. That had never been the case with the product before but it had become common the consistency had changed. We called at least 3-4 times over a year and a half and while they listened politely and sent coupons, the problem persisted. We switched company and no longer buy that brand.
I like a certain caramel spread which comes in a small plastic tub. A while back for safety, they added a clear film liner under the lid. To get at the caramel spread you need to first lift the lid and then peel the tamper proof plastic membrane which is glued to the rim of the container. There is nothing solid to grip to pull it off and it is so well glued that it does not come off easily. Cutting around the edge makes it drop into the caramel and it is a pain to extract and impossible to do so without making a mess.
I also objected to the newer design of the container which has a large hollow lump on the bottom pushing upwards into the product space. It is designed to deceive the eye by making the container appear larger when in fact there is little spread in the center where the lump is located. So far the last container we bought is the same as before. I like the product but I will no longer buy it unless there is a change.
