I assume thats for a settop model.
130 hours of hd video??? Not bad. But of course they didn't elaborate at what broadcast bitrate. It can be up to 9gb per hour for hd video. Though a typical broadcast is usually 4gb (at least the over-the-air hdtv, I dont have experience with satellite/cable hdtv).
But I like the sound of a 1tb harddrive. I didn't know those were officially being produced yet? I thought the highest was 750gb? Also can you record in dvd mode on the hd-dvd discs?? Then you could really cram the hours on their. Plus can you record to dvd on the model? I mean record standard def video onto traditional dvd-+r media??? The versatility would be great if it could do that - I mean be truly backwards compatible.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
same price as the sony model that has been out for a year now (japan model)
