Take a look at DVD2oneX...Also Toast 7 has compression facility...don't forget to try searching the forums for DVD compression on the Mac...

What about the most important part about DVDShrink which is that it's free

Shrinky-DVD-ink has an interface similar to DVD Shrink

A not-free, but inexpensive, option is ffmpegx. Once you've paid your registration fee, you can gain access to its shrink tool. I've never used it, and it looks very basic, but it should get the job done if you only care about preserving the main title. If you need to do a lot of complex reauthoring, then you'll need to use something else. But for a basic "shrink the main feature to fit on a DVD5" task, ffmpegx should work.
