    It is a WMV rendering exploit.

    Temporary fix is:
    1. Click on the Start button on the taskbar.
    2. Click on Run...
    3. Type "regsvr32 /u shimgvw.dll" to disable.
    4. Click ok when the change dialog appears.

    This will disable WMV rendering.
    Run procedure again to enable when Microsoft patches it.

    I did rethink my initial post!

    Thanks for additional link. Too bad this post doesn't show up on main Videohelp page. It would help a lot people avoid getting wiped out.
