    Hi everyone,

I've been having fun with my DC10+ ever since I bought it. I can get it to capture in Studio 7 perfectly (of course) and PowerVCR (tends to drop frames a bit). I am running an Athlon 1800, 512 RAM, WinXP SP1. I love VirtualDub but cannot get it to recognise the DC10+ as a capture device. I read somewhere that it might be because VirtualDub needs WDM drivers just like Windows Movie Maker in XP. Basically I've got my VCR hooked up to the DC10+ to convert some VHS stuff to MPG or WMV. Any ideas ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

I use a DC-10+ as well, and have been told by many people on this site that I will need to switch to a different capture card in order to use VirtualDub.

The Pinnacle DC-10+ uses VFW - or something like that - drivers which are outdated.

I've since switched to using the analog pass through of my camcorder directly through my firewire. Lot less dropped frames that way also.

Hope someone else might be able to help you.
