    I am trying to unlock a DVD so I can rip it using SmartRipper.

    Some of the files on the DVD are locked. How should I go about resolving this?

    1.Play the DVD with PowerDVD,WinDVD,etc for about 30 seconds.
    2.SmartRipper is outdated,use DVDFab Decrypter.

    Take a key - a good solid key - from your keyring, and drag it from the centre to the outside edge of the disc. Never drag in a circle, as this can scratch the disc and make it unplayable. If you do it right, your disc will be unlocked. If you get it wrong, the disc will be screwed. This copy protection thing is tough to beat, especially if you are unable to even use a simple search function.
