I got sound, I know the file is fine, yet I still have no video.

I've read various forums with 'solutions' but nothing has worked so far.

I have downloaded the k-lite codec pack and every codec is enabled, same problem occurs.

I also downloaded vlc, But still the same problem occurs. I also have tried using Gspot to find what the problem is but it didnt find anything wrong with the file, However when I rendered it the video and audio played in a small screen in sync on the test section of the gspot program.

If anybody has any suggestions they would be very much so appreciated

Welcome to the forums. Unfortunately, you are the latest in an endless series of newbies who incorrectly believe that the less you tell us, the more likely you are to get help. What you have done is the equivalent of taking your car into the shop for repair and told the mechanic "Something is wrong, but I'm not going to tell you what. I do expect you to fix it though."

Telling us the format of your file would have been nice. Posting a screen capture of what Gspot shows would have been even better.

K-Lite codec pack is evil. One of your problems may be too many codecs.

  6. just try reinstalling your codecs, sice the screenshot you provided includes a .avi file from dattebayo, there cannot be anything wrong with the file. I reccomend that you try installing http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Gordian_Knot_Codec_Pack.htm

And then just regulary update ffdshow.

That almost just corrupted my operating system o.O

It got an error message saying that if I continued with the installation my hardware would become unstable....

And the guy on the other post same thing happened when I used your codec.
