Has anyone noticed any significant difference on Verbatim DL media when recording at different speeds? It can be recorded from 2.4X up to 8X. I tend to be conservative with burn speeds. I burn single layer DVD-R media at 6X but I don't have a good feeling for the "best" speed on DL media and I don't want to burn a bunch of DL media just to test the difference.

I've never gotten perfect results consistently when going higher than 4x.

My writer does not support faster speeds with them. -
my burner is the Benq1620 and it burns all my verbatim+r DL @ 2.4x and all work on the 7 players I've tried them on.
