  1. Can S2D be made to convert to half D1 (352x480) rather than it's default full D1 (720x480)?? I would really prefer to be able to convert to half D1 as you can fit more onto a DVD as well as less problems with upscaling videoes? So can this be done or added as a feature in the future?
    Thanks,

There is a registry setting which determines when svcd2dvd will encode avi to half-d1 based on bitrate. If you want to change the half-d1/full-d1 threashold then add the following string value:

    FULLD1BITRATEMIN

    to

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Badger I.T.\SVCD2DVD 2.0

and set the value of this new string to 8000. If this registry entry is not present then the default is 3000. By changing this to 8000 you will guarantee that all avi to mpeg conversions will be at half-d1.... I shall add this as a setting for the next version.

  3. That's Great! Thanks so much for replying. Shortly after I made this forum query, I sent my registartion money via paypal. I haven't seen anything in my email either from Paypal or from you. Have you indeed recieved anything from Paypal from me? Usually I recieve a notification from Paypal upon making a purchase. Perhaps it did not go through. Please let me know.
    Thanks,
