just trying to download free videos from joyn.at. videodownloadhelper gets always error while downloading, idm and 4k downloader do not work.

do you have any ideas how to download?

Should be quite simple, Joyn (at least joyn.de) uses a standard widevine process.

You can use any of the free CDM's posted here: https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/413719-Ready-to-use-CDMs-available-here%21

You'll further need a downloader (yt-dlp or N_m3u8DL-RE will do) and mp4decrypt to decrypt the downloaded video. With yt-dlp you'll have to merge video and audio files, mkvmerge/the MKVToolNix GUI can do so. You'll find (links to) everything needed here in the forum.

If your request isn't a one-time-request, you definitely should take your time an try (one of) the linked scripts. They all come with instructions on how to use.

And yes: joyn.at is simple, it uses the same API as joyn.de. No special headers needed, just a plain simple widevine process to obtain the keys. You'll only need the license request with the get parameters and the mpd manifest url with the get parameters.

For the basic stuff read through "Decryption" series by Angela in the stickes (the first post of each contains all the important stuff).

Just wanted to download

with video download helper, but doesn't work in 1080p anymore. Have a file with 1 second good quality and then i see nothing although the whole file was downloaded.
