Mubi Subtitles Downloader

Hello everybody! I've been using StreamFab for quite a time now but I just can't download a subtitle whatsoever from mubi.com (through the DRM MPD module). I've read this thread : https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/401133-Dash-textstream-subtitles#post2651167

A mine of information I reckon. Unfortunately, it's double Dutch to me even though I tried to decipher it.

Would somebody be so kind as to share a step-by-step method for a true beginner like myself?

Try IDM sometimes they allow downloading subtitles even for protected videos.
Also contact StreamFab and complain as this might be a bug that needs fixing, assuming you are using the latest version.

I tried with IDM and I got a list of MP4 and JSON files varying from 2 octets to 800 Ko. For the complain, I did a quick web search and found out that the issue had already been reported in a few threads. Nothing has been done since.

I tried contacting StreamFab but it seems they do not support the subtitle format. Please help!

If you don't find a solution, you can try creating the subtitles yourself using Whisper AI. Subtitle Edit has this option in the Video menu but their default module is not that accurate.
You can try installing other modules or use the standalone Whisper AI Command Line.

Very simple question.

1. Copy the URL of the mpd file. (mpd link)
2. Run the command below:

N_m3u8DL-RE.exe "<mpd link>"

3. Select the subtitle stream(s) in the list you see.

Next time check the README.md before you ask because unlike e.g. how to get the keys to some videos, it's already written in the readme document on its GitHub repo.
