Where to find license URL?

MPD tells you about video & audio formats being streamed and decryption(s) being used, PSSH, KID values... No lic URL in there.

To find lic url, go to Dev Tools>Network and search for terms like "wide", "lic", "cenc"... You will see your Lic URL in "headers" section (General-Request URL). You can end up with more than 1 line (In my cases - 3 lines). Then just take a look at their "payload" sections. You will see that only one of them has a complete "request payload" value. And that's your headers request (to be converted to Python).

ridibunda, where is the "payload" section(s) and the "request payload" value(s)? (And also, how does one know what a 'complete' "request payload" value looks like?)

(I'm trying to find the license URL for a site, and I end up with LOTS of possible License URLs, but having trouble figuring out what is the CORRECT one!)

Think I figured out the payload thing, you have to keep looking through all possible returned "wide", "lic", "cenc", etc values until the "Payload" tab appears (i think...I can see the "Payload" tab immediately when searching for "mpd", but when searching for those other values, it only appeared on certain (the correct?) values)

While searching for the lic url and headers, you can end up with 2-3-4 lines.

Look at Payload sections of these lines:

Ignore the empty request-payload. Take the other one, copy cURL bash.

When I right-click on the filtered "license" view and click "copy link address", I get the same URL:

Is one method preferred over the other?

And then finally, I am getting output errors trying to generate the key, is there a way to tell if my PSSH is wrong, my License URL is wrong, or if the site/video simply can't be decrypted?

I don't use Getwvkeys. I have no idea about what "error code 400" means.

Even if I write widewine, mpd, method post and many more everything remain blank.
In mpd there is no passh and I can’t see the license url too.

I wrote this in a different thread not too long ago:

You can get the PSSH in different ways:

• PSSH is in the manifest
• retrieve PSSH from init file
• use EME logger extension in your browser

license request usually happens shortly after you find the manifest url.
Look for a POST request, usually there is some keywords like:

• widevine
• wv
• license
• drm

This is not a guarantee that one of those will be in the url, it's just something to look for. It could be something totally different.
Look at the payload of the POST requests, usually there is 2. Sometimes these 2 are preceded by an OPTIONS request to the same url, but the license request itself is ALWAYS a POST request. For most services I have come across, the first POST request to the license server usually has a payload of

\u8 \u4

this is a very good sign that you have found the correct request.

Copy the headers of this request, as these are the ones you need. It takes time and practice to figure out which headers are needed and which are just "standard, default" headers. Usually there's only 1 or 2 you need for the license server to accept your request.

In the mpd file I can't see PSSH but I can see the kid. I tried to get pssh using your recommended method in other threads but I receive always many errors, I think because or the pssh is wrong, or the link above is not the license URL.
I am trying with dev tools I cannot see the license URL. I tried with mpd, wide, lic etc but nothing come out.
