    v3.4.6.11 feedback

    Not sure if this was mentioned earlier .. but
    'Analisys' should be 'Analysis' .. and
    'unsuccessfull' should be 'unsuccessful' .. one L

    Technically, the analysis completed [was successful], but detected no scene changes,
    so, may be, change the box title to just 'Analysis' or 'Detection Unsuccessful'.

  2. v3.4.6.012 feedback

    Fixed:
    No downmix wrong frame size
    “Change length and pitch” new frame size
    Batch scan reappear after abbort
    Scanning after abbort
    Batch task now without wrong scan result window
    Success message for empty grid muxing

    Add:
    Chapter wrong input check and automatic correction - works well. Thank you.
    And good to have a progress bar!

    Minor things:
    Chapter, Manual creation, has two spaces between necessary & and.
    The "Delete last add" button remain when you delete all chapters in the list.

    "At scene changes" produce wrong chapters. Some START= values are greater than the video duration.
    That is the reason why you can not mux such Created_chapters.txt files.

    EDIT:

    Example with duration of 35 minutes
    Correct last chapters each minute:
    [CHAPTER]
    TIMEBASE=1/1000
    START=1980000
    END=2039999
    title=Chapter 33

    [CHAPTER]
    TIMEBASE=1/1000
    START=2040000
    END=2071652
    title=Chapter 34

    Created with "At scene changes", all created data
    [CHAPTER]
    TIMEBASE=1/1000
    START=000 <-- Okay
    END=32938239
    title=Start

    [CHAPTER]
    TIMEBASE=1/1000
    START=32938240 <-- Wrong, too large number
    END=32970271
    title=Chapter 1

    [CHAPTER]
    TIMEBASE=1/1000
    START=32970272 <-- Wrong, too large number
    END=2071652
    title=Chapter 2

    Some END values are also incorrect. They must be divided by 16.

    I can't replicate that here.
    The analysis reads the timestamps (pts); your video probably has invalid timestamps.
    To test this, load the video, click on lossless changes, select fix time stamps, and repeat the test with the new video.

  4. Even higher values after fixed time stamps

    ;FFMETADATA1

    [CHAPTER]
    TIMEBASE=1/1000
    START=000
    END=49411351
    title=Start

    [CHAPTER]
    TIMEBASE=1/1000
    START=49411352
    END=49459399
    title=Chapter 1

    [CHAPTER]
    TIMEBASE=1/1000
    START=49459400
    END=2071652
    title=Chapter 2

    Found the bug, is fixed now.
    Update, please.

  6. I just record a clip with W11 x64 snipping tool and get the same result like for the previous videos.

    The number fix is working and the chapters get muxed.
    But only the last two chapters get written/stored in the chapters text file.

  7. Strange value in Crop -> Top, use crop detection. The test file has been cut with the app.

    Image
    [Attachment 89351 - Click to enlarge]

    The entire text: "488 Last message repeated 1 times"

    The preview cannot be played until the characters are deleted.
    Of course video encoding doesn't work either.

  8. Selecting “At fixed intervals,” 600 seconds is the default.
    However, you must first change this value before the “Create file” button appears.
    Even if the video is longer than 600 seconds and a 600-second chapter fits into it.
    Currently, the button is also hidden until the chapter fits. And that's a good thing.

    Can you also change "Any 600 seconds" to "Every 600 seconds".

    Thx for the hint and the test file, never seen this, but I'll fix it.

    I can't reproduce that here. Tested with a cutted file with 00:10:00.041 duration (600.041 seconds).
    2 chapters are created, the create file button is displayed. All as aspected.

    Can you also change "Any 600 seconds" to "Every 600 seconds".
    Will be done.

  12. Tested again with other files. It works as expected. Sorry. My mistake.

    How about adding a button to “Extract” embedded chapter streams in the “Action” field at the chapters page?

    EDIT:
    The Extract button could extract the stream and load it immediately as an external chapter in your editor!

    EDIT2
    Might be better to name the button "Export".

    This would only make sense if you wanted to edit the chapters, which is not necessary in most cases.
    And even if it were, the existing extraction option is sufficient.

  14. Yes, you're right.

    Could you write “Extract streams” on the main page with a capital E only? Then it will be consistent.

    You have PM.

    v3.4.6.014 feedback

    Crop:
    I like the flashing "file scan in progress" text line.
    How about adding an Abort button while scanning, as a 135 minute movie need 4:10 on two cores.
    Good idea to change the Help text to "To finally integrate the activated chapters".
    But I would swap "Integration with muxind" and "Video duration", as you always have source infos at the top.

    Video encoding page:
    The frame text "H accelerated decoding" should be "HW accelerated decoding" or "HWA decoding".
    Could you move the entire encoder settings frame up a little so that the HWA frame can grow in height?
    And can you also add (pixel) to the Crop frame text.
