Hello,
I have received an old sound card from a friend. No driver CD.
W7 doesn't detect it and the makers have stopped support.
Can it be used?
Please suggest.

Yes it will work on 32 bit systems. You should able to find the software and drivers on Creatives US site. I had one on my old computer.

You should give a try to the kx drivers. According to their GitHub directory, the SB0060 card is supported.
However there are no guarantees that some recent Windows 7 update will not b0rk kx"Programmers are human-shaped machines that transform alcohol into bugs." -

Unless your motherboard is so old use the built in sound,it will be a lot better than that old sound card.

Thanks.
Most links to drivers are dead. Creative Forums don't exist.

Will work on those suggestions and revert.Sword is no substitute for kitchen-knife. -
Same as El Heggunte go for https://github.com/kxproject - and compared to motherboard audio chips there is no match with capabilities of KX. You have dedicated hardware DSP not present on most of modern audio IC's due insane DRM Microsoft policy to process all audio by main CPU since Vista... btw usually embedded audio is still worse than dedicated audio board (PCB layout is almost always suboptimal from audio quality perspective - i can almost always hear HDD on headphones with embedded audio and never on SB Live).
