So, we all know that there are DV capture programs out there that have the ability to send DV video from a computer to a DV device through FireWire, like Scenalyzer or Enosoft. Every software I've tried has so far only been able to send signals in the camera's native standard. If I try to send PAL to an NTSC camera, the capture software will either not send anything (in the case of Enosoft), or send a jumbled NTSC signal (in the case of Scenalyzer). I have Sony camcorders that are capable of playing back either standard, and taking either standard as their FireWire input (in other words, they are compatible with both standards). Problem is, my MiniDV camcorder is NTSC and my Digital8 camcorder is PAL, so Enosoft and Scenalyzer cannot send their non-native standard to them. When I connect them to each other, then they both "tune" to the same standard, but I would like to be able to record a DV feed from my computer. Does anyone know of any DV capture software with the output capability that does not care about the connected camera's standard?

Only a few; Scenalyzer, Enosoft, and WinDV. None have worked. How many other capture softwares can output to tape as well?

Is there a program that makes the computer look like a camcorder to other FireWire devices? With a fixed standard?
