^^ Actually my friend, if you have ANY issue with a member's post, the correct course of action is to 'Report' the post - that is what the little graphic to the left is all about.

Dissing a Mod in an open forum, even if you think you are in the right, makes you no better than the 'trolls' who you are happy enough to proclaim since that post is, itself, guaranteed to have a reaction. In fact it is a short road to getting yourself a warning or even a ban.

Lest anyone think my post is simply a rant (these span more than a year):

I think people from the land of Steers and Queers shouldn't be allowed near any electronic device.

If you don't know what a snitch is, chances are you've gotten the taste of being one, residing in the land of Steers and Queers after all.

All the classic signs of a troll:

1. Engages in repeated homophobic slurs and other hate speech
2. Attempts to shame anyone who stands up to them

And I have no idea who Fiona Garrett-Glaser is, but that Off Topic thread was conveniently disappeared when the same poster used some homophobic slurs there as well.

This is a lot of Quixotic nonsense. Report the posts and if they don't stop, then ignore the user. Or leave the forum if you are dissatisfied with its moderation. Otherwise, you'll just get banned, few will take any note of your martyrdom, and -Habanero- will carry on with his bovine homosexuality fixation.

To restart the same argument in another topic just invites issues.

That's a shame, really. That thread was started by me, and its goal was just bash Archie "Doom9" Lopez himself.

The whole point of closing a topic is to stop pointless discussion.

Even though I think some threads should not be simply "locked and/or hidden".
If there were highly-offensive posts, the mods (or the Admin) could just edit or delete them,
and keep the thread open. The mods might close the thread instead, but again,
there would be no actual need to make it "hidden".
