    All of a sudden I started getting some unwanted details which fills half of the screeen while I play a video. Don't know how to eliminate this. It is irritating. Can someone suggest me to get rid of this.Click image for larger version

    You might have the OSD (on-screen display) enabled - open the Options, click on "Player" in the list in the left-hand pane of the Options, and make sure "Show OSD (requires restart)" doesn't have a checkmark in the box next to it.

    Also, you might try toggling:
    View > Information (Ctrl+3)
    View > Statistics (Ctrl+4)
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?

    That's the madVR's debug OSD. As brusno said, CTRL+J will get rid of it.
