Hello
I have some 350mb tv shows that won`t play on my Bluray player. The format is in Xvid, but for some reason my player won`t play them.
I downloaded Any Video Converter and converted them to Avi/Xvid and they play ok, but once converted the file size changes to 280mb files.
How do I convert these to keep them at 350mb file size?
I'm new to video conversion software so please help me.
Thank you

There are some restrictions on the xvid specs for those players. I think if you look in the guides section here you'll find something.
If the resulting files are smaller the video bit rate is lower. You're probably using the default setting for that. If the program has an option to change it ... and if it doesn't I'd uninstall it ... change the bitrate to at least the same. -
Here's a common set of 'problems' that DivX/Xvid-capable DVD and Blu-Ray players may have issues with: Common DivX DVD Players AVI Playback problems!
However, assuming your videos are indeed AVI, you may just need to simply remux the AVIs. Open an AVI in VirtualDub, set both the Video and Audio to Direct Stream Copy, and save the video to a different filename. Then, test the new video on your player. If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
Whenever you have a video file that won't play but others in the same class do, you should post a MediaInfo report on the file, that way one can see at a glance what may be the problem. I would suggest you get hold of AviDemux and run the file through it and if it reports anything like "packed file" or vbr time etc let it fix it. No re-encoding and quite quick. Otherwise use AVIRecomp to re-encode it completely to bog standard Xvid.
