Burned dozens of blu rays so far using ANY DVD HD and BD Rebuilder but came across this one odd error message just now while trying to burn Saturday Night Fever:

Error in attempt to multiplex: MUX_00004.meta - Unknnown exception. It does not have to be! Plase contact the application support team for more information. [20:09:28] - Failed to build structure, aborted

Can anyone explain what this means and how to fix it?

You probably need to ask this on the Doom9 forums (http://forum.doom9.org) under the "DVD Rebuilder" (yes, that's really the right place) section. Good luck. You'll need it. They're not always interested in solving BDRebuilder problems over there.

Take a look here at this thread from yesterday.
    https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/339103-BD-Rebuilder-Error-Message-MKVMERGE

When you open BDRebuilder on your rip, check to see if you see VC-1 at 1080i or 480i in any of the video streams. If you do then this is why it's failing. See the thread in my link for the reality of the situation - basically you're screwed.

  3. You need to post the complete log file. Also run inspect.exe from the BDRB folder and post the report.

Is that error message verbatim? Never seen it before and a search on the BDRB bug report thread turns up nothing. Likewise nothing for Saturday Night Fever.

OTOH, "Failed to build structure, aborted" turns up some posts. Maybe you have a bad rip, but I dunno. You could try again.

The main movie is supposedly encoded in AVC. Now, it may be that some extras are interlaced.

I'd try a test run movie-only and see if that works. And welcome to the forum. Good luck.
    Pull! Bang! Darn!
