Hello guys,
well, firs of all I am going to give you a few details about my NOTEBOOK ...
ASUS G73JW Series... the one with blu ray player, and 8GB of ram. Yeah, the gaming notebook, despite tha fact that i use more the PS3 for gaming.
The thing is however, that i have bought a BLACKMAGIC INTENSITY SHUTTLE, and i've tried to install it in many diferent ways. It is a 3.0, and i have a 3.0 port... but the thing is that its supported by a FRESCO LOGIC chip. Any thoughts if the fresco thing is going to make my shuttle work? or does it only work with NEC and RENEASAS ELECTRONIC ones?
Ive been investigating on the internet for a few days now, and i havent really gone much further, so that right now for example and having tested everyting, my USB 3.0 port doesnt even reconize de shuttle (that might me just momentainously). Maybe its a thing that has to do with the drivers. I have the FRESCO LOGIC FL1000 updated to the latest driver, Fresco_Logic_3.0.116.3 but i still cant make it work.
I did have some progress before, i could at least see the image from one of my INPUTS, on one of my OUTPUTS. But then it stopped, and i havent managed to get it working again.
If you have any thoughts that could help me, i would really apreciate it!
Thanks in advance.

The FL1000 chip is last-gen PCI-e 1.1 and only supports 2.5Gbit/s. The only Fresco Logic chip certified to work with the Shuttle is the FL1009, which is a two-port version with PCI-e 2.0 for the full 5.0Gbit/s required by the Shuttle. See also:
