    What settings would you suggest. That was originally DV-PAL. The clip was saved as .mov but it looks the same.

  3. I don't use a Mac and I don't know anything about the hardware and software you are using. But generally you should set the capture software to capture VHS at 720x576, 4:3, YUY2, interlaced, with no cropping or resizing. Maybe if you posted some sample images of the config dialogs I could give you more specific suggestions.
