Hi.
I have used MakeMKV http://www.makemkv.com/ and also AnyDVD HD for ripping a BluRay dics its works 100% fine, my problem is now, that i have a new Samsung TV, it can play TS. ISO. MKV. files and so on, but i can't use the BluRay dics menu.
therefore i used MakeMKV so i can get rid of the dics menu, its works fine to, but my problem is now that i can't see the subs, how can i HardCode the Sub to a MKV file, so when i play the movie, it will be played with Sub on. (and oc with the sub that i have selected as the one and only sub.)
i have tryed RibBot but i can't get it to work, the outcomming MKV file is scrinked to a 1/5 of the normal MB size and i have selected one sub i want, but when played there is no sub.
can someone help me...

Have you followed a ripbot264 guide? You can set the output file size and to get harcoded subs click properties and set subtitles to built in. See the basics here https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/296167-How-to-backup-and-convert-Blu-ray-to-MP4-HD-or-MKV-HD

Hi Baldrick
I have tryed to look at the guides but with no luck...
I Rip the BlueRay disk with AnyDVD HD
then i use tsMux to select only the movie and the sound with the Danish Sub (as u see here)
Then i used RipBot264 and selected the sound and the sub again (as u see here)
Its run for 10 min. and then i look on the encoding settings page and will add the sub, but when i hit the (+) there is nothing its want a SUP. SRT. file and i can't find a file of that filetype in the BlueRay rip folder or on the dics itself, where do i find that SUB file have tryed to use SUBRIP but it also want a SUP og SRT file and the file can't be founded on the disc or the Rip folder.
What do i do wrong !? -
Having not really used Ripbot, all I could add is that it appears that ripbot is muxing the PGS subtitle into the MKV. Unless Ripbot OCRs the PGS and converts it to srt, the subtitle will not play. If it doesn't OCR the PGS that you would have to do it yourself and insert that into ripbot or you could just leave it as an external srt in the same folder and with the same name as the mkv.

The question is will you see difference in quality? Instead you should use CQ mode (Constant Quality mode) at 20 or 18. (no need for 2-passes!)
