I've got an avi (xvid encoded) vid and a separate sub file. I can't figure out how to have the subtitles automatically loaded with MPC. I have VMR9 renderless selected.
Could someone help me?

Do you have DirectVobSub installed?
What file format is the sub?
The sub file has to be the same name as the avi with both in the same folder
(e.g. film1.avi, film1.srt) -
the extension name is .sub
They are both the same name and in the same folder.
I don't have directvobsub installed. -
I installed the program and opened up the vid and still no subtitles.
Any other ideas how I can get this to work? -
