issues using codecs wmv9 and wma9.1 in ffmpeg

Hi,
I'm using ubuntu 7.04 and ffmpeg to confert files.

I'm trying to install w32codecs, so I can convert a mpeg. file to a wmv file, with vcodec wmv9 and acodec wma9.1 (windows m?dia audio 9.1)
I find in the net a file "w32codecs_20060611-0.0_i386.deb"
and I installed (tried, at least) it with the command
"dpkg -i w32codecs_20060611-0.0_i386.deb".
the problem is that I must have to do something else because I cant make a
"./configure --enable-wmv9" or something else so I can use this codecs.
Can somebody help me using this codecs, please?
