  1. as per this topic,

a constant noise source (buzzing) can be removed from an audio file.

I have the ulead video editing package.. I'd like to apply the technique to my wedding video (in a tower in Niagara Falls.. the "noise" of the Falls seems fairly constant.)

Can the ulead software do this or should I try another software (freeware perhaps.)

    Thanks.

  4. The first few voices are that of the minister: he's loud and it can be removed by selecting "just the Niagara Falls" background (just around that high frequency spike about 2/3 the way through).

However, our voices are heavily drowned out; our "signal to noise ratio" is way too low.

When I try the noise removal (I tried different noise removal dB levels), I don't get much signal left.

Right now I'm trying diff. noise removal levels and then trying to seperately select clipits of voice and amplifying them... it's working to some extent.

    Any other suggestions?

The water hissing is probably in the 4-7K range. I wouldn't use noise reduction, just cut the bands below 80hz and between 4000 and 7000hz
