  1. Yes, I'm embarassed to say this but I've never been able to use ImgBurn because I do not know how to use it.

I'm confused by terms such as "Build." I know it is suppose to build something, but what exactly is it going to build? How is it going to go about building that something?

I've tried a few times but gave up getting confused and puzzled. Maybe I was lazy or the program is not built for simple Johns like me.

I'm used to Nero where i click once and a window comes up with VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders waiting for my VOB files to drop into them. Very simple!

I just can't figure out how to do it with ImgBurn. Is there a file preparation that is different from Nero that I have to do first before feeding them to ImgBurn? How can I burn with ImgBurn my reauthored VOB files from DVDShrink?

Can anyone point me to a step-by-step using regular dvd disc (single-layer) on how to use this program?

Please someone guide me on how to use this program from my VOB, BUP and IFO files from DVDShrink.

Thanks for reading this and your help.

Next time just have DVDShrink output as an .ISO Image instead of folders...that alone will make your life with ImgBurn a whole lot easier.

I've barely tried to use it myself, due to similar confusion. However, there are what appear to be some pretty good (and brief) guides for the program linked here in the Tools section. I printed them out, and think they will do the trick, the next time I go to use it -- particularly for anything a bit more involved than what steveryan outlined for you, such as using it for dual layer media.

But do always check the Tools Section entry here for any guides. They will vary in quality and ease of following, but many of them are quite good. There are also guides to be found for many programs on sites like Afterdawn, Doom9, CDfreaks . . . .

steveryan... I like the simpleness of your method (drag and drop the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders). I tried it just now and it works for me. Thanks very much!!

I just realized why I do not like iso output from dvdshrink and dvddecrypter because I like to run the movie files to check if theyre alright before burning to disc.

Thanks again to everyone and especially to steveryan!!

Here is a tip. VLC can play the ISO file as if its an actual DVD already.
