  1. im new to these kinds of things, so please be gentle. well anyway, i have AVI Fansubs with 170Mb each, and i want to burn them as a dvd format, i tried nero7 so i can burn them 1chapter = 1 episode, but the subs in the anime dont sync with the sound and the video itself, i tried the avi2dvd but it only convert one avi at a time or job. i need something that converts 5 AVI files and put them in 1 dvd format but the subs sync with audio and video. a couple of links would do or a step by step on how to do these kind of things, any help would be appreciated thanks ^_^

Normally, fan-subs are embedded into the video during encoding, so converting them to another format cannot cause sync issues. Are your subs in a separate file (e.g. .srt) or encoded into the video ?

Second, use ConvertXtoDVD to encode multiple videos together to create a single disc. Keep your total running time down to 2.5 - 3 hours tops, or quality will suffer a lot. ConvertXtoDVD can load external subs in a number of formats, if that is what you have.

Finally, if your subs are encoded into the video there is a very good chance that once encoded for DVD, they will disappear, at least partially, into the overscan area on most TVs. This is because fan-subbers still don't understand how to position the subtitles correctly. You can adjust for this using FitCD and avisynth, then encoding the avisynth scripts with ConvertXtoDVD.
