Can't get FFMPEGX to work!

Hi all!
I am desperately try to convert a RM video to any iPod format on my Mac (Intel).
Downloaded MPlayer: can play the video.
Downloaded FFMPEGX, installed suggested binaries (20060307), copied the /usr/lolca/lib/codecs folder into Libray/Application Support/FFMPEGX/reallib
Cannot play video from within FFMPEGX. Is this normal?
Encoding lasts 2 seconds, and the file is empty. Here is the log:

Have you tried using another preset? According to this post, you can only use mencoder. Never had to play with rm files, so that's about all I can suggest...
