I finally got that software, happy that I can restore data from my damaged cd and when I installed I found out that I'm unable to register online. Their website www.321studios.com doesn't exist, neither their phone numbers and emails. Obviously the company run out of buisneess for some reason and what am I supposed to do right now

You are not alone. I got the software bundle with my version of DVD X Copy platinum witch I bought at Comp USA on sale at $90. After I discover that platinum saves a hidden log of all your processes movies I stop using it but I still kept using DVD rescue. After a computer crash I tried to install both but couldn't. Then I found on the net a way to do it. It requires turning the clock back to before a certain date and some other stuff. Do a goggle search, you will find it.

Is your right to be able to use the software that you legitimately bought.
    I want to believe....

I'm wondering why in particullar they (321studios) lost their rights to sell DVDXCOPY. There are so many software that can copy DVD's right now, why Hollywood don't sue everybody

You don't need to buy anything. There is a whole bunch of free software, for example dvddecrypter and autogk.

use that link to download dvd shrink 3.20

you also need to download dvd decrypter, Ripit4me & FixVTS. you could also download Dvd Fab Decrypter as well to use for ripping the files to your hard drive.
