    ever since i got new board i had to get a raid card so thats what my hard drive is linked to but every time i try to do an avi it just freezes up but when i do any thing else its fine please advise many thanks in advance for your help

    When you say freezes up, what do you mean? Is there an error message? Can you post a log file of such a run?
    SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

    nothing it just stops thats it not at any special point just any where but it never gets to the end only with avis but i do have my hard drive connected to a raid card as my board only has one ide slot

    here is the log file from the last problem run it got to 34.7% and it just stops please help its doing my head in many thanx in advance for your help

    I suspect it is the same problem.
