  1. Still working on my choppy video problem. I've made some improvements by sliding the slider to motion but am sacraficing some quality. Any guides or tutorials on optimum settings for converting .mpg to .wmv; I can't find any - thanks!

The settings would be to do with the WMV codec itself I would've thought. Surely googling "best WMV settings" or "optimal WMV settings" would give some leads ?
    If in doubt, Google it.

  3. Hey Jim, This is the first thread that I've started where I didn't get any help. Here is a thread where I posted a clip that I had a problem with. Using the same equipment on a different clip, I posted another clip that presented no problems. I can change settings in WMP itself? Is that what you're saying? Didn't come up with anything useful in a search.

  4. Try to encode to mpeg1, VCD size of frame
and encode mpeg1 to wmv with Windows Media Encoder 9 with 2 pass.
Or try encode to wmv with Sorenson Squeeze: http://www.sorensonmedia.com/solutions/prod/comp_win.php
