    new laptop has a HL-DT-ST DVD-RW GWA-4082N writer in it........looking for any and all info i can get . thanks

    Hitachi LG data Storage a writer often found in a variety of laptops.

    Speed DVD@8x/+R@4x/+RW@4x/RAM@4x/+DL@2.4x

    Speed CD@24x/R@24x/RW@16x

    I thing the GWA is the OEM version of the GMA, specs should be the same.
