Me and 3 other people are over here trying to figure this out.

We are using the Demo version because we are poor! lol.. well not realy.. but really.. We have to evaluate something before we put some greenbacks on it. (besides I lost my wallet and couldn't do the western union thing with chrissyboy.. lol) I'll be hitting him as soon as possible.

    BUT...

We are able to burn the DVD using SVCD2DVD demo with Neroburner or
DVD decrpyter as the burning method. What happens though is that when you play it back in the DVD player, it stops after each chapter and returns back to the beginning and stops.

Is this because it is the demo version? I have checked on the site for anything like this but i don't think I found any other problems like this..

If anyone could help.. I would appreciate this. I'm really looking forward to doing more with this software and wanted to know if this was a common problem.

    Thanks..

  2. It's not a common problem. How did you structure the DVD (how many VTS's, what kind of assets, length of assets, etc.) is there a log you can post?

well.. i don't get an error on the burn or process that S2D does. It finishes as if it is complete and perfect. It was all good. However, when I place the dvd in the dvd player.. 3 different ones.. it responds the same way. It plays all the way to the end of the first file (bin/mpeg) and stops. the only way that I can get that second bin to play is to hit next on the dvd players. As this is fine enough for me, I still want to do it right. Thanks for you time this morning. I have to jump in the shower in a few and head to work before 9 est

If you post your log it should be quite clear what is going on. Logs are created in the "logs" folder under where you installed the application.

Well there will be a log from the previous runs so you could send the one that corresponds to the issue you are having.

here's the log crissy.. it's still doing it. I just burned this one to disk last night.. and sure enough.. as soon as it finished playing the 1st bin.. it stopped on the dvd player.. but what i had to do was just start the dvd over and skip to the the 2nd bin and hit play. kind of nerve wrecking to do this. i just want to do it correctly. it seems as though the 2 files need to be joined in someway.. anyway.. here's the log..

Its because you are creating two titlesets.

If you are using "Quick DVD", put the bin files in the same folder be fore you start.
