    i have tried to make a back-up of this movie.i use icopydvds2 and the updated version of dvd43.i can not get it to make the copy.at 20 mins remaining it freezes up.i have cleaned the disc so i know it is not that.also everything else copies fine.
    any help would be great.thanks

    It may have one of the newer forms of copy protection. You can try DVDFab Decrypter as yoda313 mentions and that should rip the DVD to your hard drive. You can process it from there with your choice of programs. I use DVD shrink at that point. Some of the newest DVDs may take more than that to backup. If so, someone here has likely done it and may be able to give you some tips.

    I can confirm that.

    Within an hour of unwrapping Fantastic Four, i downloaded the latest DVDFabDecrypter, and had no trouble at all using DVDShrink to fit to single layer DVD.

    I used DVD DECRYPTER as well then DVD REBUILDER PRO and no problems at all.

    Newer forms of copy protection? Hahahahahahaha!!!!

    It ripped perfectly for me with zero problems and i use Smartripper.An older,outdated program that stopped getting updates about 3 years ago.

    It ripped fine for me, I used old fasioned DVD DECRYPTER and DVD Shrink.

    Mabey your copy has the new "Pizza Sauce Protection".
