VSDC convert MPG file 25fps (50i-60i) to MP4 60fps

Hi, with MAGIX Video Deluxe Premium I was able to convert 25fps MPG video file that, when viewed in the player, show 50i or 60i; and I was able to convert them to 60fps MP4s with ease. However, things are different with VSDC Free Video Editor: why doesn't this program convert to 60fps? What did I do wrong, or what didn't the program set up correctly? I'm waiting for your response to understand what happened with this method. Thanks. Here's info with attached from original MPG file:

Most free/trialware video editor apps are targeted to people who record video on their smartphones, DSLRs, or action cams, and thus have no clue how to properly deal with interlaced and/or non-square-pixel video.

I haven't tried VSDC, but:
* Microsoft Clipchamp: does not support interlaced video
* NCH VideoPad: does not support interlaced or non-square-pixel video
* OpenShot: de-interlacing is an effect which must be manually applied to each clip; aspect ratio of non-square-pixel video must be manually corrected
