  1. Hello, I'd like to be able to view blocked content on https://watch.hgtv.com/. In a previous thread, I asked for an account so I could set up a "link provider." I asked, but I shouldn't have. However, I'm looking for a workaround to bypass this link provider. Could someone help me? Thanks a lot, and I'm sorry if my requests seem out of place.

  2. I have absolutely no idea what a link provider is. GoDaddy maybe?

The link provider may refer to a TV service provider's website.

I have at times watched shows carried on a cable TV channel online. I had to select my cable TV provider from a list and, if not already logged in, provide my username and password to log in to my account with that provider. This ensures I can't watch content from any channel that is not included in my subscription.

The only "free" alternative is via the HGTV channel on YouTube, but "free" requires you to suffer through their advertisements.

Completely exact! There is free content, accessible to everyone, and blocked content, which is accessible through a link t internet or TV service provider. As a result, if you’re not a U.S. resident, it becomes difficult to access this blocked content since I can’t subscribe to it. So, I was wondering if there was a way to get around this, so I can do it on my own, rather than asking people to download videos from that site for me. I was specifically looking for “House Hunters,” which is blocked.

The site charges for an account to watch so unless you pay there's no way you will get any help, this thread is closed.
