Since you're remuxing the files, could you add an option to specify an audio offset. Something in the range of +/- 30ms is all I need. This should be at least theoretically possible, since I've seen other programs do it. If possible, this should be done without transcoding the audio.
I'm not suffering from the audio sync issues other have complained about here. It's just that I have a set of files that are out of sync by a small known amount.
As an economic incentive, I should point out that this feature alone will probably get you 100+ customers. This would make svcd2dvd the best authoring app out there for PVR ripped mpegs.
