I try mkvextract2 but made file without extension, and if i rename .265, .h265, .yuv dont open in mp4box.
Next i try command in ffmpeg with copy video (no re-encoding) but file dont open in video editor and try Avanti-gui but not start.
Where is the problem? i need open 265 in video editor like sony vegas pro 13 without convert video every time. there is video editor for hevc?

  2. Vegas doesn't support HEVC. The next update of Premiere Pro is supposed to natively support HEVC

You can use a freeware program aviutl to edit HEVC, but it's not a full featured NLE (but still can do many things, multiple layers, many effects)

Or you can frameserve into any program (including vegas) with avisynth and avisynth virtual frame server

I need software for open 2 video, find difference (tv cut, opening, ending) sync tv audio on bluray. now i use audacity, but if there are too many difference, i need real time video compare. you know any simple and fast solution with hevc support.

for Vegas I find this HEVC_FileIOPlugin.dll plugin, but dont work with .mkv hevc

edit2: blender open mkv hevc, but i dont know how to use

  4. The other issue is real time playback might be a problem in a NLE because HEVC is computationally expensive to decode - real time playback within an NLE probably won't be possible without GPU acceleration on typical hardware unless you use lower resolutions (UHD won't decode in real time)

Do you have a link to that Vegas hevc.dll? I'd like to test it out, but I have a feeling it is bogus..

That plugin doesn't work here in Vegas 10 running Win10. It may require Vegas 13.
