I've bought the famous 5pack Datalife Plus in pastel colors that are the Taiyo Yuden discs....but what about the spindle packs of Datalife Plus.
I've read this thread....
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=748817#748817
....and was wondering if the same said there still holds true. I highly doubt I will find Yudens in there.....but I don't want to find CMC's in there that's for sure.
I've seen at least 3 different countries of origin on the spindles IN THE SAME STORE and was wondering if Japan and Singapore were still the ones to buy. Unfortunately I saw NO Japan ones there....but I do recall seeing Singapore and I think Taiwan.
Does anyone buy these spindles on a regular basis and know which ones to look for? The local store here in Germany has TONS of these 25 packs for €17,99....both + and - versions.
Thanks in advance if you can help.

Datalifeplus spindles should always contain media with the MCC code, though they will most likely be made in Taiwan by CMC using MCC dye and stampers. Singapore media is pretty rare these days, and I don't think you'll find any Japan media outside of DLP Pastels in 5 packs with jewel cases.
