mpeg4 > dvd

hello

been using the 0.0.9L version of ffmpegx to convert mpeg4 > dvd with great success. until now it starts to encode like normal, but the m2v file is just black! so i decided to up my version to 0.0.9p but with the same results,

the file info reads:

VIDEO: [DVIX] 640x336 12bpp 25.00
fps 1826.1 kbps (222.9 kbtyes/s)
audiocodec: framecopy (format=2000
chans=6 rate=48000 bits=0 bps=56000
sample-1)

and this is what it reads at the top:

VIDEO: mpeg4, 640x336, 25.00 fps. AUDIO: ac3, 48000 Hz, 5:1, 448 kb/s

can someone tell me what i'm doing wrong? i normally just use the quick settings and the bottom

ps when i enstalled the new mpeg2enc i noticed that it downloaded as a blank sheet file, where it normally shows writting on it. is this correct??

Unusual fourcc there, afaik. Possibly QuickTime trips over it, not knowing how to decode it. Does the AVI play in QuickTime Player? If not, try unchecking Decode with Quicktime in the Options tab of ffmpegX.
