I recently just upgraded my system. I now have an Asus P4P800-E Deluxe motherboard, and Intel 3.20e Ghz processor, 1 Gig of DDR Ram, an Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT vid card, and an ATI TV Wonder PCI tv tuner card.
From my previous system, I thought that I'd just hook up my Altec Lansing ADA885 THX speaker system - but I'm having nothing but problems - I can only get sound on the rear speakers - if it's in Quad mode.
I'm also unable to get the latest ATI MMC 9.02 running, and I've downloaded the latest from ATI.
I've tried following instructions with no success. Anybody got any suggestions or help?
Thanks!

Some where in the configuration part of that card/utility program there's a setting that tells you where to plug the speakers in. If you use 6.1 vs. quad there is usually a different audio output on each plug.
Something like this:
5.1
Pink - rear
Green - front
Blue - center
quad
pink - Microphone
green - front
Blue - rear
At least that's how mine is
