i got a patch for videopack 4 that fix's vcd's that have more than 4 tracks. Any anyone help me and tell me what question no2 means.
Purpose:
To fix the VideoPack 4 (v.4.00.82) problem of creating correct offset for each dat tracks in track01.raw.
How to use:
1. Create the disc image to generate TRACK01.RAW, TRACK02.RAW, ...
2. Specifiy the number of tracks as the first argument to pass to vp4tocue.exe. eg. for 20 tracks, type "vp4tocue 20"
3. The -old option is for VideoPack 4 (v.4.00.79) but I have NOT tried it. I have it there because it is just simple to add this extra thing in the codes. DO NOT USE THIS OPTION for v.4.00.82.
What it does:
It reads "TRACK01.RAW" into memory. Check the filesize of all TRACK*.RAW files. Calculate the offset and save a new file called, "TRACK01.NEW".
Then it generates a CUE file (using TRACK01.NEW).

did you download the vp4patch file from the same site?
ftp://ftp.thu.edu.tw/salebios/stuff/cd-r/cdrsoft/CeQuadrat/VP4PATCH.EXE
(for anyone else that stumbles on this http://www.ora.nsysu.edu.tw/~goldentime/vp4tocue.zip)
With the combo of these 2 programs, it first fixes the multi track bug, then creates a cue sheet that points the .raw tracks that vidpack makes.
The answer to #2 is how many tracks you have. For example, if your creating a disc that has 8 mpeg files then you enter 8. If have 67 mpeg files then you enter 67.

You do have Video pack 4 right?
That tool is a comand line tool.
Real short now
Video Pack exports it's files as RAW. Each RAW file is a track. If you created a project with 5 mpeg clips Video pack would put out 6 RAW files.
Unzip vp4tocue to the same directory as your raw tracks.
Open a msdos comand prompt, drag n drop vp4tocue to the msdos window.
You should see C:\whateverfolder\VP4TOCUE.EXE
Press space, then enter the number of tracks you have.
It will then create a cue file that can be loaded, and burnt with CDRWIN.
