who use the honestech MPEG Encoder 3.0,is the quality good for vcd encoding .

It would not encode a 10 minute avi to mpg without the audio sync being off.

I think the quality is very good. The quality I think is a little better than the panasonic encoder plugin that i used in the past. I only did a movie with cbr. I don't know if I'd say it's better quality than TMPGENC definately not as flexible. I only did one movie with it. I had no audio/video sync problems. It seems reasonably fast about the same as TMPGENC for speed. Not as fast as Cinemacraft I'm sure of.
