  1. I'm attempting to convert some pal avis to ntsc dvd mpegs. I checked out the guides but most if not all of them tell you to manually sync up the sound with the picture. Is there any other method that doesn't involve me having to do this? TIA

    Have you checked out my guide here,might be easier if you convert the avi first to ntsc depending on the encoder.

  3. I've never been to your site but I did see your guide on here. I just wanted a method that would not involve me trying to sync the audio on my own but I guess it doesn't exist. I'll give your method a try. thnx

    Have u tried using TMPGEnc?

    It is very stright forward to use and everythin is pretty much done for u

  5. For live action it seems flawless for converting pal to ntsc. For regular tv stuff anyway, I've never tried converting a pal dvd but I will assume it looks the same. When you try to convert cartoons simply loading the ntsc template leaves a light motion trail of frames during action scenes.
