Threads like this make me wonder why I chose Engineering.

I would figure enginerring is a decent job....most ppl in that field seem to make pretty decent money. Makes me why I picked to drive trucks..I so bad want to get into the video industry...may not pay as much but at least its something I will love to do.

Yes its OK, but engineering in the UK is pretty much undervalued. Put it this way, if you want to earn the big bucks you would not choose engineering. You would choose something like banking or accountancy.
