Hey
I have a movie that I need to add some permanent subtitles to. The problem is that the movie file that I have is a single video file, while the only subtitles that I was able to find on the internet are split for two cds (i.e. momcd1.ssa, momcd2.ssa). This creates a huge problem when I am trying to split the movie file for conversion to VCD because I do not know when exact moment is that the subtitles for CD1 should end and CD2 should begin. I know the frame # of when CD2 should start, but that number applies only if the video were already split in half. I am wondering if there is anyway that I can join my two .ssa files into one that will able to be split using VirtualDub and TMPGenc. Also, if not that, then are there any other subtitle websites where I can look for a different version of the subtitles? Any recommendations or help is greatly appreciated.
THANKS

Yes, and yes. To join them, use Sub Station Alpha. A good subtitle website is subtitles.co.il.
