    Benq DW1610 DVD Writer Don't buy this it's garbage !!!!

    It can't read or write most DVD-R disc's I'm taking mine back today.

    Did you check to see if it had the latest firmware on it ?

    It could have been sat in a wharehouse for a while before you got it and still have buggy Alpha release firmware...

    no firmware yet for that drive. take a look at the firmware index for drives that have firmware updates and firmware hacks. it could help you decide on what dvd burner to purchase.
