  1. Has anyone produced a disk that has all the format(s)
on one disk to allow people to test their players?

If someone has, why hasn't it been posted here to allow
people to update the compatibility list?

  2. There are only 3 formats: VCD, SVCD and DVD.

There are samples of VCD and SVCD (and miniDVD) on this site as well as elsewhere on the internet for you to download and burn to test your player.

For obvious reasons, you cannot have all three on one disc.

"XVCD" and "XSVCD" are not formats and needless to say there are no test discs. Even if there were, the problem is that short video clips of non-standard specs are often useless in testing compatibility (problems are often not apparent until playing a long clip -- e.g., A/V sync problems). Furthermore, there are so many ways of producing X/S/VCD, a "XVCD" test disc would be of limited usage.

    Regards.
