    what are .3gp files ??? can't play them on my pc windows xp !!

    .3gp files are MPEG4 video files, usually created by mobile phones (those with a video camera)/or created for mobile phones. .3gp files are very small wich makes them suitable for such a cause. I guess some kind of mobile software would install the codec for you, I know nokia has one.

    There's (was?) some QuickTime plugin available that allowed QT Free version to play 3gp. Think I got the link here at VideoHelp, but it was too many brain cells ago for me to remember exactly.

    3gp playback is supported with Quicktime since version 6.somethin'. Authoring requires QT Pro or some other software.

    Simply download newest Quicktime player, install it and you should be able to play 'em.
